I wanted something similar but beautiful to wear on my wedding day and this definitely fit the category. I love it, and can not wait to walk down the aisle wearing it in August. I got the dress in a size 12 I am 5 foot 1 and weigh 209 pounds the dress fits perfectly with the exception of the length It is extremely long but that s a quick fix
